Sean’s Baptism

On May 8th, Sean was baptized during mass at our church, St. Thomas the Apostle. Our good friends Rob, who Mike grew up with and his wife Katie are Sean’s Godparents. It was a wonderful day and we continued to be blessed by Sean’s smile and loving personality. Here are some pictures from that day.

End of the Year at Lynda’s

Lynda does a wonderful end of the year celebration for the kids to showcase what they’ve learned and their routines. Mary Kate showed us her routine is often to play and do her own thing when she should be with the group but I’m going to call it creative and independent for right now. :) I also included a picture from last years as a comparison (tear!).

Sean is 6 months!

Sean is six months old and is now starting to sit on his own. We can’t go too far away because he’s definitely still a little wobbly but he’s getting stronger every day. Usually, he’ll start sitting, lean onto his stomach then flop onto his back. He’s such a happy baby!

Mary Kate is 3!

It’s hard to believe that the original Greenebean is already three! Mary Kate is really growing into a bright and beautiful young girl. She loves to sing (her newest favorite is “She Loves You” by the Beatles- how hip)! And she’s even big enough to climb a tree in Lynda’s front yard. I think we might have a future gymnast on our hands! Finally she loves to dress up again. We practically had to wrestle her Christmas dress onto her but now she’s asking to wear her pink cowgirl boots and pigtails all the time.

One of her favorite presents for her birthday was a pair of rain boots. It wasn’t raining the day she tried them out but we created some mud puddles with the hose and enjoyed the sunny 70 degree weather that spring in Atlanta brings.

We celebrated MK’s birthday with a baking themed party which was a big success! The kids decorated their own aprons and chef hats. After a game of pin-the-cherry-on-the-cupcake, the kids made pigs-in-blankets for lunch (well, MK supervised while snacking on the raw hot dogs). Then they moved on to decorating cupcakes. February in Florida

So way back when, over Presidents Week, we met up with Nana & Papi and Uncle Chris, Tante Sara and Sophie in the Florida Keys. We rented a beautiful house with a pool in Key Largo and then enjoyed Miami, Isla Morada, Bahia Honda and Key West. It was a wonderful week and so great to spend time with family (especially the Norwegians)! Here are a few fav pics and then if you want more visit our Shutterfly site.

And as of yesterday, Sean has two teeth! A little fussiness and a lot of chewing & drooling over the past couple of weeks indicated it was coming but we were a little surprised that two popped through at the same time! It’s the two bottom ones and I’ll try to get some pictures as the pearly whites emerge.

We recently enjoyed a sporty family outing with the McGaheys- Bowling! MK and Nisha got to use a little ramp to roll the ball and the bumpers of course. It won’t be our last trip to the lanes!
